SRINAGAR, JAN 5 (KNO) : Young social activist Inaam un Nabi has lambasted the state authorities for inhuman treatment  against NHM  doctors at Srinagar & Jammu and also ignoring the demands presented by them during days long protests at Srinagar .   While adressing the protesting NHM doctors, Inaam expressed disappointment over the fact how  doctor was mistreated at  qazigund hospital,  slapped at SMHS, dragged and lathicharged at Srinagar & Jammu, dragged by collar by serving cabinet minister . Inaam described it complete deceit the government’s failure to fulfil the commitments made to NHM staff on regularising their services.   Inaam termed the condition of Doctors  as worst sufferers and exploited by every means. He observed that NHM are the backbone of state’s healthcare system and are working with utmost dedication. “The continued strike has affected health services to a large extent with patients facing a lot of inconvenience in rural as well as urban hospitals .Govt should wake up from slumber,” Inam Noted. He observed -"Such attitude is unbecoming of a civilised society.  More than any one else government has ill treated doctors and discriminated against them through all means.  For god sake these doctors are no less than angels for commoners on death bed, they serve untiringly and seem the last hope for diseased. They are paid peanuts for serving 24*7." Inaam made it clear that every one of us would be accountable for mistreating and discriminating against these angels. While the public has seen worst faces of ruling dispensation recently,  i wonder why such cheap tactics are being played with doctors too. Inam called upon solving all the genuine demands of doctors and giving them a due heed.(KNO)
